The Sky light ridge caps have sure came a long way the past few years. These sky light ridges are made from plastic and preform much better then the old fiber glass ones, they stay flexable in the coldest of temperatures. It is recommended that the sky light ridge cap be supported in the in the center. Depending on the pitch of the roof, but typically a 2×4 on edge run along the ridge of the roof works well.
